ABSA involved in Fidentia scandal - and whose the advertiser on the page?

April 12th, 2007 · 4 Comments

moneyweb and absaI thought this was quite ironic. Moneyweb had an article this morning about other parties being implicated in the Arthur Brown Fidentia affair - one of these parties they were speaking about was ABSA bank - and who was the main advertiser on the page?

Think this article should be read by others?

it wasn’t deliberate - ABSA has a run of site campaign running on moneyweb…

But surely run of site would mean they are still aware of ABSA as an advertiser.

so your point is that if a content site writes about a particular company, and that company is an advertiser with the site, they should exclude that advertisers ad’s from showing up on the page?

so moneyweb should have prevented ABSA ads from showing up on any page that mentions ABSA?

    why?
