The Greatest Game Ever Played

April 16th, 2007 · No Comments

the greatest game ever playedIf you were watching the movie on MNET tonight, and didn’t feel something (it could have been a variety of emotions) where 20-year-old Francis Ouimet defeated his idol, 1900 US Open champion, Englishman, Harry Vardon, then you need to work on your EQ in a big way.

I only managed to watch the second half of “The Greatest Game Ever Played” and missed a few minutes of that when I got a call from Kim, but that was enough for me to realise what ENORMOUS amount of mental strength combined with hard work & talent was required for Francis to overcome the odds.

Whether it is sport, or business, or any other area of life you want to excel, the ingredients required for success are very similar…

The Greatest Game ever played is based on a true story - to me, that makes it even more powerful than a fictional movie.
