Awesome first night. I know, I know - some of you wanted a bit more structure (Henk, Uno, Shelly). Send me suggestions of how we can make it even better next time round? Or if you want to help organise? Or if you want to sponsor prizes etc…
Did anyone take any pics tonight? pls msg me if you did… (most of you know the sad story of how my digital camera got a cracked screen last week).
A HUGE thanks to Anton and the Extreme Hotel for the amazing reception they gave us (and the free drinks). I spent a fair amount of time giving some of the guys their tonight a personal tour around the 3 must see areas:
1. Interior design of the Bathrooms (top of the list)
2. The smokers Coffin
3. The pool deck
If you haven’t registered yet for updates of when the next Coffee Club (should be cocktails club judging by what the guys drank tonight - so it’s not that there was NO COFFEE - it’s just that no-one had coffee!) is getting together, go to:
http://entrepreneur.meetup
And the biggest thank you goes to all of you who made it tonight.
PS: Got a website or Blog? Put a button on your site to help promote the Coffee Club. Here’s the code…

UPDATE:
I posted the post, read it, and realised it definately wasn’t one of my better posts!!! But it’s 12:51 am, i’m tired (I rushed from the OpenCoffeeClub to Toastmasters - Lloyd Dicks speech on Dave Duarte’s attempt to win the blog awards, being narrowly beaten by the Hof himself - not David, Steve Hofmeyr! was BRILLIANT!)
And i’m up in 6 hours time for a walk along the promenade with my mom, and then straight onto Shanna’s networking breakfast session. So I thought if I didn’t post tonight on the Coffee Club, it wouldn’t happen, but I’M SHATTERED!!!!
