With so much happening in the past week, I haven’t got too much further with my blog aggregator project.
However, my intention is too add value.
Something I think will be useful is a straightforward directory - either by name or by company name of all the blogs. Often you want to know if a friend or contact is writing a blog but aren’t exactly sure of their spelling or name. With this list, you’ll simply scroll down and see all the blogs listed by the name of the person writing the blog. (I know!!!! - a straightforward list is going back a FEW YEARS, but I think it will be useful when you want to find a person or company writing a blog)
So I’ve created a STRAIGHTFORWARD LIST OF BLOG’S!
To add your blog to my blog directory send me 3 pieces of information from you and your blog will be added:
PART A:
1. Your name and blog URL if the blog is personal and you want to be in the “person’s†list
2. Your company name and blog URL if you are promoting your company and want to be in the “company†list
3. Your blog name and blog URL, if you don’t want to be in the “person’s†or “company†list - bascially anonymous
PART B:
You can also give me up to 5 keywords to add unlinked after the hyperlink describing yourself, your company or your blog.
PART C:
Your RSS code so people can add your feed to their readers.
Contact me with the info, and i’ll get you on the list ASAP…

Hi Eric
If we submit out URL’s now do they automatically get submitted to the aggregator when it comes out or will we get to opt-in again?

There might not be submission’s to our blog aggregator - and it’s far too early to discuss whether you’ll need to opt in again…
But if you want a link in this Blog Directory, send through your blog info.

Guys - If you want to be included under your NAME, please give your first AND surname, as the objective is for people to be able to search under your name to find your blog…

Uno - just took a look at the link - can you please add EricEdelstein.com to the list as it’s not on your blogroll yet.
The difference between the blog roll usually found and my list is:
1. I’m including the RSS feeds for quick adding to your reader
2. I want a list of the people behind the blogs - so you can search by person to see what their blog is. Other blogs are corporate or don’t want their identity revealed so i have 2 other sections for that.
an example would be eishman’s blog - he asked me to include his site, but doesn’t want his name revealed - so he goes in the anonymous section.
The value to me is being able to search for a name, and find the blog they write.
And the keywords give a hint of what the blog is about…
If you want your blog included in the list, let me know….
