Your column this morning in the Sunday Times labelling M&G’s Vincent as “an ordained priest in the Church of the Latter day Blog” was priceless (See Vincent’s comeback)
It reminds me of my days living in London where Lazy Sunday mornings were trips to Sainsbury or Waitrose to grab a copy of the Times (along with some croissants), or chilling in Moments Cafe in West Hampstead reading the Sunday papers. And the first articles always read were the columnists articles - AA Gill and Michael Winner!
CONSPIRACY THEORY - I still think that David Bullard and Vincent Maher created this entire scenario in advance! And the move over to David Bullard’s new NON WORDPRESS blog dispels Groogle’s denials. (Although I now think that myDigitalLife from the ITWeb stable was probably in discussions as well)
But last week David you were advocating the need for SOME restrictions in bloggers writings (You brought up a good point on racism last week - SEE: Does David Bullard have a Point?) - this week you are supporting total “freedom of the press”?
Apparently freedom of speech is not as deeply cherished in the blogosphere as it is in the print media.
Why the turnaround?
