Do you remember that scene in the movie Boiler Room where Seth gets the call from the newspaper salesman trying to get him to buy a subscription?

I got a request to join my Linkedin from a guy I didn’t know and he didn’t give any details of who he was or why he wanted to join. So I rejected the request.

A few hours later, he tried to get me on Instant Messenger. So I fired him the following mail:

So I decided to play along…
