Those guys on Carte Blanche were right about one thing. Some of us are on the roller coaster and some of us aren’t.
I’m feeling like i’m on it big time at the moment - from the moment i wake up to the time I finally fall asleep, I’m being hit by every digital angle there is…
As I’m writing this, the TV is pouring out the latest breaking news, I’ve got email coming through, skype messages are popping up, the other IM’s I use are spurting out stuff from MSN messenger, AIM, yahoo, & gTalk, and now today I’ve gone and downloaded twitterific which is a neat little program that shows you your twitter contact’s latest messages - which is about one every 20 seconds!
And of course need to check facebook and my RSS newsreader (loving NetNewsWire) a few times a day.
I remember that quote from Gordon Gecko in the movie wall street standing on the beach overlooking the rising sun “money doesn’t sleep”.
It’s the same with information - you just have to know where to look, what to take in, and what to reject.
Now back to Plaxo!
