I spent a lot of time investigating the boutique hotels and guest hotels in Cape Town a few weeks ago, as I needed a special place for a special time.

I have to admit I was amazed at what beautiful venues Cape Town has to offer.

I’m used to the traditional hotels in Cape Town such as the Grand Westin (previously known as the Grand Westin), the 12 apostles, the Mount Nelson, and the Radisson (with those unbelievably beautiful views).

But I didn’t realise until recently what incredible boutique hotels there are in Cape Town.

The Alta Bay & the Ocean View both looked incredible, but I finally settled on a place slightly out of Cape Town.

For the out of towners who are coming to grace our shores, do yourself a favour, and spend some time researching on the net - you’ll be amazed at the places!
